This page offers a selective listing of the books we've read. It is by no means exhaustive—there's not enough time in the day for that! Many of the books are listed on other pages; some are duplicated here. I've organized the books into categories to help those interested in particular subjects, though much of this is arbitrary.

Learning to read is a highly individual process when not encumbered by curriculum and teachers. Learning to trust in that process is perhaps the hardest thing an unschooling parent will do.
